ON THE ROAD PART VII: THE PROMISED LAND, GRACELAND

This was my dream destination in Memphis. The greatest of American mansions, and pretty much as close anything in America will ever get to royal status. Yes, none other than Graceland. My excitement had grown to unparalleled levels before even arriving in Memphis, especially after passing a number of huge billboards advertising it, "Visit Graceland" they said, and I was racing there as fast as I could. I hadn't researched any pictures of it before my visit, I wanted to see it for the first time live in technicolor, and let me tell you it did not disappoint, (as if I ever thought it could).
